But whatever happens, you can't recruit the opposing power (Khorne >< Tzeentch). Echoing Norsca, after you beat another Daemonhorde, you can build a shrine to recruit THEIR daemons. You can only, at the start, recruit your own Daemons. You start by picking a Power, and a LL, which is a Greater Daemon. These can be dropped into any Daemon Horde as cheap(er) troops.

There's still some flavour to the individual armies: you can't access troops above lvl 2 unless you're playing that race. These shrines will become available to the Beastmen and CW armies as well, allowing them access to basic daemons. They also have access to Chaos Undivided shrines, which will, at higher levels, allow them access to the basic and medium troops of Beastmen or Chaos Warriors.
